Kids love our safaris!
A child’s first safari is an exciting and memorable experience and we aim to make their stay special and fun for the whole family.
We at Leopard Safaris welcome families at our camps and it's the perfect stop over on a family tour in Sri Lanka.

We have devised customised family-orientated packages and offer discounted rates for younger children to make travelling with the kids that little bit easier.
​
Our spacious tailormade Family Tents sleep up to two adults and three children comfortably. We also have hammocks, swing chairs and other children fun games waiting at the camp!
In between game drives, younger members of the family can get involved in our hosted kids’ activities whilst the parents take some time out to relax and unwind.
Please note that we have a minimum age of 3 years for children.
Family Safari
Kids Nature Walks (8+)
Our nature walks take you on an exciting journey through the campsite with one of our wildlife experts. They’ll teach you all about the little critters and flora in and around camp, and help you to identify all the footprints you'll spot on the way!
Wildlife Footprint Games (4+)
Tracking animals by their footprints is one of our strengths. Footprints criss cross our camp and it can be exciting for children to match these with their owners as they explore the campsite. We have a few games that will help them to identify and memorise each footprint, which make spotting tracks a lot more fun!
An educational adventure for kids at Leopard Safaris!
We have recently introduced our Junior Rangers Summer Camp for 2 or 3 nights with hands on activities & safaris. If you’re traveling through Sri Lanka with kids and need some time to kick back, we’d love to have your kids at our camp!

Our aim is to educate the young generation about our local wildlife, the importance of different elements in the ecosystem, as well as basic survival skills. The fun-filled summer camp is packed with team building activities, tree planting, nature quests, and cooling off in a jungle river bath or our eco saltwater swimming pool after a safari. Come nightfall, we have bonfires at camp and delicious local food to munch on, before retiring back to the tents to sleep soundly.
Our young guests will take home a Junior Ranger Certificate, as well as the activity booklets used during the camp.
