Leopard Safaris Yala Campsite
The Leopard Safaris campsite has been carefully set up right on the border of Yala National Park. In this pristine environment, there is no lack of wildlife inside the camp and you can expect to wake up to the sound of tropical birdsong every morning. The trees are also home to monkeys and squirrels, and the grounds alive with reptiles such as frogs and prehistoric-looking monitor lizards. Sometimes, elephants can be spied on the edge of the park’s boundary.

Our Yala safari camp offers various tented accommodation options including luxury double and family-style tents. There is a lounge for relaxing, a dining hut (although we often dine under the stars), and an salt water eco-pool that offers a great opportunity to refresh after an adventurous day in the park.

Your stay with us at Leopard Safaris is an all-inclusive package, which includes drinks from our jungle bar, snacks and freshly prepared meals, safaris led by professional naturalists, as well as a range of nature related activities.

Food is an integral part of your stay at Leopard Safaris campsite, and many of our clients tell us it’s the best they’ve had in Sri Lanka.

Our devoted camp chefs cook from the heart, and prepare an array of traditional Sri Lankan food and international dishes using locally grown fruits and vegetables. Some even grown in our own garden.

Our chefs can adapt our menus and we can cater to any dietary requirements. We are happy to prepare special meals for vegetarians, people with food allergies and children. If you have any special wishes, please inform us in advance so that we can make sure to cater for them.
